Title: 2 days ago, I went to semakau landfills tgt wif Joey, priscilla wan, joshua and colin for our environmental module. School says that those going for tis trip can be dismissed at 1pm. At 12:30pm me and my group members start counting down........ 12:55pm we start packing up our things and at 1pm,out we GO!!!!! All of us started to get very HIGH and excited haha!! My mum brought a small bag for me to exchange wif my sch bag. Me and Priscilla took 5mins to eat the hot bowl of handmade noodles due to time constrain. Leave sch at 1:20pm sharp after taking attendence and things. Priscilla used her handphone that her mum lend it to her as camera. As she is new to her mum's phone,both of us are trying to figure out how to use it LOL!! Went to the marina transfer station, took a FERRY over to semakau landfills and thats where our FUN begins....... Before boarding the ferry, there is a floating platform. Me,priscilla and joey doesn't know that we are actually standing on it so we thought that we are getting dizzy and floating around but it was actually not LOL!! On board the ferry, we went to the lower deck wif air-con while the other group went to the upper-deck without air-con. All of us are almost getting sea-sick but after awhile it was fine. The guide tell us the places as the ferry moves around. Camera's out and start snapping photos wif friends and pictures to beautiful scenery. Reached semakau landfill in about an hour time. Board a mini-bus that brings us around the whole area. Went to the place where the ashes of waste are being disposed off at. Saw and learnt alot of things there. Went in to the conference room after seeing the place. Watched a 15mins video clip then went home at 5:45pm. On board the ferry again but tis time round we are going back so we will be sitting on the upper deck while the other group sit the lower deck. I prefer the upper deck as the sea breeze is really cool and we can see things really clearly it more fun there. Took a lot a lot of pictures. Board the bus,reached sch at 6:15pm around there...... sent priscillawan home after that and home i go. It's a nice trip and the fun part is actually at the ferry instead of the landfill haha!! my photos of tis trip are uploaded in my facebook profile go see go see!! :D |
